Before ClearGate had a name, Tanja Heintz spent 30+ years in one of the world’s most demanding environments — financial services — where accuracy is non‑negotiable and operational risk is measured in fractions, not guesses.
Across 50+ countries, she led cross‑functional teams and projects spanning Procurement, Security, Legal, Data Privacy, AML, and Fraud Prevention; collaborated with global industry peers; and managed complex vetting vendor ecosystems. Through this work, she saw a consistent gap: organizations invested heavily in screening vendors but lacked a strategic, unified framework to govern those programs.
That insight became the foundation of ClearGate— a firm built to bridge the gap between operational screening and strategic governance.
